Where It All Begins
MarkCafe Tokyo
Even when the words stay the same, music changes the way they reach the heart. MarkCafe Tokyo transforms one Japanese lyric into fourteen distinct melodies and sound worlds. Beginning with the released singles A Step Towards Tomorrow and This Is Where It Begins, the album moves through city pop, bossa nova, reggae, alternative rock, intimate piano, and cinematic balladry. Across Tokyo mornings, streets washed by rain, quiet nights, and the light before dawn, these fourteen songs form one journey from uncertainty to a small decision, and from that decision to a new beginning. Fourteen melodies, one message: You can begin again. Find the melody that meets you where you are.
