I went to Copley Square today
To join thousands of brothers and sisters
I heard the voices all around me say
No place for hate, love is the answer
Brother, sing me your sweet melody, I’ll sing a harmony
I wanna hear soulful funky symphony
Where there’s a will, there’s a way, we are here to stay
Sister, sing me your sweet melody
All walks of life getting together
To stop the madness in the USA
When dreams are shattered, there’s no future
I stand on the side of love that’s in need today
Brother, sing me your sweet melody, I’ll sing a harmony
I wanna hear soulful funky symphony
Where there’s a will, there’s a way, we are here to stay
Sister, sing me your sweet melody
Are American dreams still alive?
I went to Copley Square today
To stand with my sisters and brothers
I shouted at the top of my lungs, yeah
No place for hate, love is the answer
Brother, sing me your sweet melody, I’ll sing a harmony
I wanna hear soulful funky symphony
Where there’s a will, there’s a way, we are here to stay
Sister, sing me your sweet melody
