"I am the light" is Cö shu Nie's first single since founding their independent record label "RVRNC" in August 2025.
Their 2018 ground-breaking major debut single "asphyxia" was the opening theme for the anime "Tokyo Ghoul: re". Since then, they have proven themselves as one of the most prominent figures by writing and performing the ending theme for animes like "The Promised Neverland", "Psycho-Pass 3", "Jujutsu Kaisen", "Code Geass", "Black Butler", and etc.
"I am the light" highlights Cö shu Nie's odd-time signature progressive rock sound and it's powerful vocals give a glimpse into the sound they've cultivated to date and the evolution we expect to see in the future.
