Goodbye

Chambers is a Tokyo-based band formed in 2025. Originally founded by TAIYU (Drums), Naoyuki Takeda (Bass), and Kodai Imamura (Guitar), all seasoned musicians with extensive experience in session and support work, the lineup was later completed by vocalist Hiromu Sasaki.

Drawing from each member's roots in funk, soul, rock, and blues, Chambers crafts a genre-fluid sound through their own distinct musical sensibility. Their tight, technically refined musicianship comes together with Sasaki's vocals, which move seamlessly between English and Japanese, creating a groove that is unmistakably their own.

Their fourth single, "Goodbye," is a quintessentially Chambers mellow track, built around a rich, full-bodied band sound that pairs an upbeat pulse with a laid-back, chill atmosphere. Sasaki's vocals, beautiful yet edged with a raw, raspy texture, create a striking contrast against the track's breezy instrumentation. Through vivid imagery, the song captures two people drifting out of sync and the feelings that continue to grow despite being left unspoken, balancing a refreshing lightness with a lingering sense of bittersweetness.
