MADE OF LOVE

In 2013, after six long years since their previous release, RENAJA finally unveiled their much-anticipated new album. This project came to life with the support of renowned duo Bruce Gaitsch and Janey Clewer, with whom they had developed a close musical friendship in recent years. The album features striking collaborations, including a cover of Bruces signature contribution to Madonnas hit La Isla Bonita and Janeys Ooh, Ooh. On La Isla Bonita, Bruce himself makes a guest appearance on guitar, while Ooh, Ooh includes newly adapted Japanese lyrics written and performed by Renaja, making for a truly special artistic encounter.

While Renaja has been frequently invited to participate in other projects as a guest vocalist in recent years, this album highlights her emotional depth and expressive power as a singer in her own right. The recording sessions brought together an all-star lineup: Bruce Gaitsch (guitar), Masaharu Ishikawa (drums), Masahiro Hayashi (keyboards), Shigeru Watanabe (bass), Keisuke Miyashita (bass), Kazuhide Matsufuji (percussion), Kiyoshi Tsuchiya (guitar), Teruo Goto (saxophone), and backing vocals by Junko Hirotani and Shumi.
