Artist Profile

  • Itoko Toma

    Itoko Toma Born in 1977, Japan. Based in Kurashiki. She starts learning classical piano from 4 years old. First time listening to The Beatles was at her age of 11, then after that she showed her interest into the different genre of music besides a Classical music. Meeting Masakatsu Takagi was a catalyst for her to start composing songs, write lyrics, and sing. Until now, she has featured as vocalist and lyricist for Masaktatsu Takagi's albums, "rehome" (2003), "sail" (2003), and "COIEDA" (2004). Then she joined as a vocalist for their live performance in Kanazawa, Tokyo, and Barcelona. Also, she was featured as lyricist and vocalist on Akira Kosemura's "Grassland" (2010). First solo album "dreamtime" (2010) released from "felicity" label, which Masakatsu Takagi designed with his photography and drawing. In 2017, second album "when the world will mix well" is released from SCHOLE label.
