Now, my third mini-album "À demain" is complete, featuring all original songs and my first in five years.
In French, it means "see you tomorrow."
This is a five-track mini-album for solo accordion. It matches the nostalgic and warm sound that emanates from the bright red Marinucci accordion that I was fortunate enough to receive last year.
The recording location was MURIWUI in Soshigaya-Okura, where I am always grateful for live performances.
The recording, mixing, and mastering were all handled by MURIWUI owner Takeshi, and the album was created with a focus on the sound that he hears when performing live at MURIWUI.
The jacket photo is, of course, MURIWUI.
I took this photo while sipping lemonade during a break in recording, looking up at the sunset outside the window.
The performance was also shot in one take, with a focus on a live feel.
The finished album feels like the atmosphere, weather, and events of the day were vacuum-packed right into it.
I would like to thank MURIWUI Takeshi for giving me this wonderful opportunity.
I hope it reaches everyone's hearts.
I'd be happy to see you all at my next live venue.
See you tomorrow! À demain!
Chromatic accordion player. I currently perform live performances focusing on original compositions, as well as classic French music (chanson-musette) and film soundtracks. I have released three CD albums to date. I perform in duos and bands, and as a support musician, playing a wide range of music genres including French jazz, Manouche jazz, pop, and theater music. With a passion to provide people with enriching experiences through the accordion, I also perform at bridal parties and as a lecturer.
