  962 (Cullots) Founded in 1999 We are an instrumental band (music performed solely with instruments) based in Tokyo. Our goal is for listeners to evoke various images and imaginations through our music. For example, if you want to cheer yourself up on your commute, listen to 962's upbeat songs to get you pumped! Or, if you had a broken heart last night, listen to 962's sad-focused songs to comfort your stinging heartache. Since our lyrics lack a message, we offer our music a free rein that can be interpreted in a variety of ways by the listener. As a band focused primarily on live performances, we hold solo shows in September, June, and February, and have also appeared at jazz festivals around Tokyo. We would be thrilled if 962's music becomes a familiar part of your everyday life.
