Country music is about telling stories, and "Treasure" is the story about my passed grandfather and my childhood. The lyrics have revealed the memories of the time that I spent with my grandfather, also expressed the words that I should have told him. Through this song, every single note is showing that how much I have been missing him. I want to dedicate to all who have lost the treasure ones that even if they are gone, their legacies will always be the significant parts of our lives.

    Deeply influenced by the character named Captain Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean franchise portrayed by Johnny Depp since childhood. Adventurous and unrestrained free soul is what my heart desires. Luckily "J" happens to be the initial of my real name, therefore Johnny Chu is born. Started to sing at a very young age, time goes by, playing bass instruments like cello, contrabass et cetera has become a part of my skillset. As an AB type-Aquarius "weirdo", keeping challenging new styles is my motto, instead of sticking to one specific genre. I'm sailing towards the whole world in the name of Johnny from now on!
