    Mari Miyamoto is a composer and songwriter from Fukuoka,Japan.She began studying classical piano at the age of five under her mother's guidance and was deeply influenced by her father,a musician who played the accordion and harmonica.Rooted in classical tradition,her music spans a wide range-from ambient and post-classical to melodic pop songs.Mari writes and performs her own songs,and also composes for other artists,handling both lyrics and music.Her work crosses genres and disciplines,including compositions for television,stage,film,and collaborative projects with visual art and contemporary dance.She continues to create music that gently resonates with everyday life,memory,and the natural world.
