Around the Olympic Legacy

This is the first release of ''TOKYO COLLAGE 2025'' a project sponsored by &mkz that sublimates the atmosphere of Tokyo in the year 2025 into music by incorporating field recording techniques. This music was produced through field recording with workshop participants in Tokyo, where the legacy of the Olympic Games remains, and live trackmaking by &mkz. The processed environmental sounds overlap with ambient sounds played on a DAW to create a song that captures the ''now'' of Tokyo from a unique perspective. This project is not limited to musicians, but will continue to collaborate with a wide variety of artists and is scheduled for release in the future.
