City Himes
Kengo Iwata (Gt.) and Naoya Morita (Key.) formed their two-piece unit in the summer of 2021. In July 2022, they released their debut EP LOVE ISLAND. The following year, the track Sunset Beach from the EP was featured on the compilation album CITY MUSIC TOKYO interchange, curated by Kunimondo Takiguchi (RYUSENKEI), and was released digitally as well as on CD and vinyl. In August 2025, their single A Brand New Day reached 10,000 streams within just one week of its release, especially gaining traction overseas. The duo continues to share their music with listeners both in Japan and around the world.
