"Chulala" is an Okinawan girls' group who were active in the early 2000s. After auditioning in Okinawan, the group was formed by three high school students at the time, Reika Higa, Ayano Oyakawa, and Rina Kinjyo, who had studied Sanshin and Okinawan Ryukyuan Dance since childhood. Based on the legendary venue "Uta Ashibi Kaguraza" in Naha of Okinawa, they were also active in Okinawa product exhibitions held nationwide to perform Ryukyu Traditional Songs.

In 2005, "Okinawa E Ikou (Let's go to Okinawa), a song to attract tourists to Okinawa, was released. The catchy lyrics, which begin with the sound of an airplane jet, bring people to go on a trip to Okinawa, the arrangement sublimated an Okinawa Minyo song into a pop song, and "Chulala" sing the song cheerfully and joyfully, making it one of the most popular songOkinawa songs of Okinawa pop.

Even today, "Okinawa E Ikou (Let's go to Okinawa) can still be heard at many Okinawa product fairs in Japan, establishing itself as a new pop song representing Okinawa.
