Wash away your jaded heart! THE KAPPOUGIES sings out a Showa-retro Kayokyoku filled with sorrow and passion!

Continuing their challenge of releasing a new track on the 24th of every month, THE KAPPOUGIES' latest song, "Ame no Minowabashi," marks a dramatic shift from their usual happy and pop vibe. It is a melancholic Kayokyoku number that depicts the bittersweet heartache of an adult romance.

Set in the rainy streets of Minowabashi in Arakawa Ward, the track features powerful vocals riding on a nostalgic yet catchy melody. Additionally, the music video (MV) was filmed at the "Joyful Minowa Shopping Street," which still beautifully retains the nostalgic charm of the Showa era.

The punchline "Shiki Soku Ze Ku, Ku Soku Ze Shiki" echoing through the chorus, combined with the irresistible "Ha!" shouts that make you want to yell along, are absolutely addictive! You will also be drawn into the retro and emotional jacket artwork by Mr.kyozombie, featuring three colorful umbrellas crossing paths in a monotone, rainy city.
