Like-an-Angel, originally formed as a tribute band to L'Arc-en-Ciel, is now stepping into a new chapter with the release of their first original song, "Angel beside yoU."
Marking a major turning point for the band, this special track symbolizes their transformation from a tribute act into a truly one-of-a-kind musical presence.

"Angel beside yoU" was first unveiled as a surprise gift to bassist tetsuya on October 3, 2024 - the final night of their nationwide tour "CLUB CIRCUIT 2024 L'Arclassic," which also happened to be his birthday.
After the show, the members surprised tetsuya with the song, expressing their deep love and gratitude through music. It became a truly unforgettable gift, filled with heartfelt emotion.

With this release, Like-an-Angel spreads its wings beyond the title of "L'Arc-en-Ciel tribute band."
Since their formation around tetsuya, the band has honed their craft on countless stages. Now, with their individual talents and shared conviction, they are ready to define their own unique identity.

    Like-an-Angel suddenly appeared in April 2023 as a tribute band to L'Arc-en-Ciel. Led by L'Arc-en-Ciel bassist tetsuya himself, all members except tetsuya were kept secret, but tickets for their first live show sold out immediately. While showing the utmost respect for L'Arc-en-Ciel, they are increasingly showing their individuality as a band and creating a frenzy with their emotional performances. And then Like-an-Angel announced their completely original song "Angel beside yoU". Released as their debut single, they opened the curtains on a new stage as a unique presence that goes beyond the boundaries of a cover band. The members are jekyll, a foreign but expressive vocalist, reno, the guitarist of ViViD with an outstanding sense of melody, saki, a female guitarist who has been in NEMOPHILIA and is also attracting attention as a solo artist, hibiki, the drummer of Matenrou Opera who boasts logical thinking and excellent drumming technique, and tetsuya, one of Japan's leading bassists, who brings the four of them together.
