Matsuo Takaomi, a musician based in Nishi-Chiba, released his 13th CD, "Waraibanashi" (A Laugh Tale), on the day of his triumphant return concert at Mt. Inasa in Nagasaki City, which he held 12 years in the making.

    Takaomi Matsuo Born April 17th in Nagasaki City. Singer-songwriter. A music activist who uses music to promote social causes. He made his CD debut while studying at Chiba University's Graduate School of Social Sciences. In 2008, he founded his own management company, Kokorozasshi Music Studio. For his 2011 CD "Kibou no Oto," the late Takashi Yanase, creator of Anpanman, provided the cover art. The following year, he made his major debut with the CD "Aino Kotoba." His "Singing Sakamoto Ryoma Project," which has been carried out in hospitals, welfare facilities, and schools across the country, has been highly praised. In 2009, he was appointed Kochi Prefecture Tourism Ambassador and in 2023, the Chiba Dental Association 8029 Health Ambassador. He has performed over 4,000 times to date, and has been featured in media outlets across the country as a unique socially conscious singer-songwriter. In 2022, they held a triumphant return concert at the outdoor stage in Inasayama Park in their hometown of Nagasaki, fulfilling their promise to reunite after 12 and a half years.
