このアルバムは2022年1月に森田理紗子（ボーカルギター）加入後初のアルバムで全18曲を収録。ファンの方々から森田加入前のリリース曲を森田ボーカルで聴きたいとの要望が非常に多く、多くの人に今のきみとバンドを届けたいとのメンバーの強い思いもあり、既存曲のほとんどを再録したものをメインとしている。
元々きみとバンドは楽器・バンド経験のないモデル大野真依（ドラム）と元ラストアイドル清原梨央（ギターボーカル）らで結成されたため、音楽面で弱いところがあった。そんな悩みを抱えていた時期にメンバーの一人がバンドを抜け、そこに新たに加入したのが森田である。シンガーソングライターである森田の加入によりバンドの悩みである音楽面、特にボーカルが飛躍的にレベルアップしたのである。
再録曲にはユニゾンで歌っていたパートをハモリに変更したり、曲全体のキーを上げるなどリアレンジしたものもあり、バンドの進化が分かる。
また、きみとバンドの原点とも言える曲「amulet」を大野ボーカルで収録した。この曲は元々大野がバンド結成前に配信サイトの楽曲提供イベントで1位になり生まれたもので、音楽プロデューサー古城康行氏との出会いの曲である。このバンドの原点と言われる曲を普段ライブでは歌わない大野がボーカルを務めた。
再録曲以外にも現在のきみとバンドの最大の売りである森田のボーカルを最大限に生かした新曲「さよならリフレイン」、昨年Zepp Hanedaワンマンライブで発表され音源化が望まれていた「あの場所へ」、先行配信曲「東温ラブストーリー」なども収録され、この1枚で今のきみとバンドの全てが分かるものになっている。
