The Song of Dewdrop

According to tradition, every several centuries, we must take advantage of a moment when the spirit veins flow smoothly to break the barrier that blocks the connection between Enkanomiya and Sangonomiya... We will need to dive down to Enkanomiya and retrieve a Jade Coral Branch left behind by our Omikami, which was used to suppress the Dragonheir of the Depths. Then, we must use the Jade Coral Branch to perform the Watatsumi Mitama Omatsuri ritual, thus causing the sunken 'spirit' to return, which will stop the erosion of the Holy Soil."
During our past adventure in Enkanomiya, we retrieved the Bloodbranch Coral, and Kokomi held the Watatsumi Goryou Matsuri ritual. Yet, we never truly witnessed the ritual itself-and the problem of the Holy Soil phenomenon remained unresolved. While the tale of Tsumi still shone brightly, we couldn't help but feel a sense of regret. So, we imagined: what if we could envision a reenactment of this Watatsumi Goryou Matsuri ritual, but ended up differently this time? What if Kokomi, dressed in ceremonial attire, danced upon the ocean's surface holding the Watatsumi Goryou Matsuri ritual that successfully resolved the Holy Soil phenomenon? As Kokomi holds the ritual bell and begins her dance, the ancient history of Watatsumi Island unfolds in our minds.
Orobashi- the defeated god during the Archon War- became the guardian deity of Byakuyakoku out of compassion for humankind. Yet after glimpsing the book "Before Sun and Moon" in Enkanomiya, he was forced to offer his head to the heavenly principles. This history is now known by few, as it was meant to be. For the people of Watatsumi Island to live under the sun, they had to forget the past. That, too, was Orobashi's decision.
If the weight of that forgotten history was carried upon the shoulders of Kokomi- the Divine Priestess, as she dances the ritual, what emotions might she stir among the audience?
And thus, this hand-drawn animation came to be.
When this young priestess awakens from her dream, will she take what she saw as truth? If the slumbering Orobashi beneath Yashiori Island could speak, he might gently answer:"It is better not to."
