  Twenty years since originally forming in 2003, hip hop crew Amijakan makes its return with regained life, this time as a ten-piece future hip hop band. Although rooted in hip hop, the music that the band of seasoned players busts out draws from a variety of styles like reggae and rock. The rhythm section features e.t on the drums, M. Iwamoto on the bass guitar, and OG on percussion, and together, the three lay down some serious grooves. Guitarists Piggy and Kenichi Shoji bestow flair upon the mix, together with Banzai, the melodica player. At the center of it all is the rap artistry that is dogmajapan, who is flanked by the melodies of vocalists GORI and Morikon. All that is topped off with the killer scratching techniques from the dopest DJs in Tokorozawa City. The 2005 self-distributed album Gogai, which sold 3,000 copies, was followed by 2006`s Gogai 2, which was distributed across Japan. And now, Gogai 3, which is the first album for the Amija BAND, will be released digitally and physically on September 3, 2023. This band goes on and on, paving their very own Formula for Success.
