STATIC LUX が“動き続けること”と“制御すること”を同時に成立させたアルバム。

ソウルの余韻、ロックの強度、ファンクのグルーヴ、
そしてアバンギャルドな揺らぎ。
異なる要素が交差しながらも、すべては過剰にぶつかることなく、
一定のバランスの中で滑らかに流れていく。

    STATIC LUX は、 ハード・グルーヴ・ロックを現代的に再構築する 5人編成のインターナショナル・ユニット。 ファンク由来のタイトなリズム、 ロックのエッジ、 そして過剰な演出を排した“抑制された色気”を武器に、 80sの遺伝子を継承しながらも、 完全に現代的なサウンドを鳴らす。 中心に据えられるのは、 余裕と緊張感を同時に纏った低音ヴォーカル。 ベースとドラムが生み出す重心の低いグルーヴ、 ギターの鋭いカッティング、 そしてシンセサイザーによる空間設計が、 静かで強烈な圧を放つ音像を形作っている。 デビューシングル「TURN IT LOOSE」では、 叫ばず、煽らず、 ただ“解き放つ”という美学を提示。 動かないのに支配力がある―― それが STATIC LUX のスタイルである。
