"LIP" is a rock song inspired by the lip - the point in surfing and skateboarding where you launch into the air.

It explores the human impulse to stand on the boundary between safety and the unknown, and still choose to leap.

The lyrics draw inspiration from Richard Bach's Jonathan Livingston Seagull, embracing the spirit of leaving the flock behind in pursuit of flying higher and faster.

To fly is to live.

It doesn't matter where you're going or how far you'll get. This song celebrates the act of continuing to fly, regardless of the destination.

Musically, "LIP" channels the driving energy of Iggy Pop's Lust for Life and the spirit of '70s rock through a fast-paced band arrangement.
