Edge of Dusktide

SerenLueur is set to release a new single, "Yu no Hate" (Edge of Dusktide), on September 1, 2026.

This debut release captures two contrasting facets of the human condition through the vocals of ReuL (from Voisona): the strength to move forward despite harboring contradictions, and the weakness of being able to confront the past only by avoiding it.

SerenLueur handled the lyrics, composition, artwork, and some of the guitar work for this release. The music video -- featuring visuals and illustrations created by the artist -- is available on YouTube and Niconico; a key feature is the use of flashback sequences that evoke memories of a "special someone" from whom the artist has parted ways. The nostalgic guitar sound and ReuL's gentle vocals may well stir up a variety of personal memories for the listener.
