"Gift" was born from a simple feeling: on my birthday, instead of being the one who is celebrated, I wanted to be the one who says thank you. I've been able to walk this far because of so many kindnesses, often invisible, that have supported me along the way. I felt a deep need to turn each of those moments into a song.
Even if we can't touch or meet in person, there are words and glances that truly reach us. The quiet presence beside me on nights when I stumbled, a single gentle sentence at just the right time - all of it became my light. This song is my way of returning the continuation of that light to you.
It doesn't have to be loud or grand. If I can simply say that meeting you was a miracle, that is more than enough.
If your heart feels a little unsteady right now, I hope this song gently wraps around you.
