Artist Profile

  • Pecker

    Born in Yao City, Osaka Prefecture. He first encountered reggae in high school, after being struck by the powerful sound of a Japanese reggae mix CD a friend was playing. In 2013, he grabbed the mic for the first time at WHATEVER in Higashi-Osaka, marking the beginning of his career rooted in the Kawachi area of Osaka. He honed his skills through countless live sessions, including appearances at YellowChoice.com, known as a gateway for up-and-coming artists in the Osaka rub-a-dub scene, as well as in various music competitions. After studying abroad and changing his artist name, he now performs live in clubs across Japan and also does acoustic sets with guitar, continuing to pursue music day and night.
