Formed in 1994 in Tokyo. Play in live houses in Tokyo until 1997. In 2020, WAYA restarted their activities when KITAI uploaded songs at that time to YouTube while at his home in COVID-19 pandemic. Vocal & Blues harp : Yasuo KITAI, Acoustic guitar & Chorus : Yoshinori TAKANO, Bass & Percussion : Atsushi NAGASHIMA. Now, WAYA is recording the first album "Quarter century" that summarizes the songs of that time. Oyazi Rock!

On January 11, 2023, the first album "Quarter century", a newly recorded compilation of songs from that time, is released for distribution.
