Four years after the release of the acclaimed album Washi soul, singer-songwriter soulsin-g returns with its powerful sequel, Washi soul 2.
Produced by Kenji Suzuki (Kenji Jammer) London-based guitarist known for his work with Simply Red .this EP presents five deeply expressive tracks, each revealing a new emotional dimension.
Two standout songs, "Toward a World Without End" and "Here I Am Alive" feature David Clayton, former keyboardist of Simply Red. His performance adds remarkable depth and atmosphere, creating a rich and expansive sound.
"Toward a World Without End" reached No. 26 on the iTunes R&B Chart.
Built around the universal themes of life and love, Washi soul 2 .blends soulful melodies, heartfelt lyrics, and expressive guitar work into a cohesive and moving listening experience. After nearly 18 months of production, this EP stands as a fully realized and passionate work.
The album artwork is inspired by Katsushika Hokusai, visually reflecting the themes of life and love, and continuing the aesthetic of the previous release.

soulsin-g is a singer-songwriter living in Hakodate, Japan. Based in Hakodate, he is engaged in live activities, producing original songs, and releasing CDs. It features soulful vocals and lyrics about life. In 2019 and 2020, he received the Excellence Award at the Radio NIKKEI Adult Band Awards. From the spring of 2020, a new album was produced with the backup of London-based guitarist Kenji Suzuki, and the 3rd album "Washi soul" was completed. It will be released as a charity album for Hakodate on 2021.4.11.
