  THE BERSERKERS are an 11-member roots reggae and dub collective based in Tokyo, Japan. Founded in 2020 by university friends, the band emerged from a shared passion for roots reggae and dub. Drawing inspiration from the foundations of Jamaican music while embracing the diverse influences of its members, THE BERSERKERS create a sound that is both deeply rooted and forward-looking. Their music combines heavyweight basslines, tightly locked grooves, spacious dub production, and vibrant horn melodies, weaving together a distinctive atmosphere where nostalgia and experimentation coexist. Since launching their live activities in 2023, they have become a regular presence in Tokyo's reggae and dub scene, bringing their powerful ensemble sound to audiences throughout the city.
