Launched in June 2026, "kedaruge" is an artist who gives voice to emotions that are difficult to put into words, as well as reckless and self-destructive impulses. "Heavy Smoker" marks their fourth single.

The song portrays a late-night encounter between two people unable to break free from an undefined relationship. In a room filled with cigarette smoke, the narrator finds herself drawn to someone she cannot bring herself to hate, despite recognizing their carelessness and insincerity.

Breathing in, breathing out, and continuing to avoid the truth, the two remain caught in the same cycle. Using cigarette flames, smoke, and lingering scents as motifs, the song captures the addictive pull of a romance that is impossible to leave behind, even when they know it is wrong, set against a chill sound that melts into the night.
