    東京出身のMC IORiと、埼玉出身のDJ／ビートメーカShuma beatsによる1MC1DJユニット。 活動開始からわずか1か月ながら、Shuma beatsが手掛けるジャンルレスで壮大なビートに、IORiが自身の言葉を乗せる唯一無二のスタイルで注目を集めている。楽曲の作曲はすべてShuma beatsが担当し、その世界観にIORiが作詞しラップで命を吹き込む。 もともとIORiはソロアーティストとして活動していたが、Shuma beatsとの出会いをきっかけに意気投合。互いの音楽性に可能性を見出し、1MC1DJとして新たなスタートを切った。 ヒップホップをルーツに持ちながらも、彼らが見据える先は特定のシーンの内側ではなく、より広い”オーバーグラウンド”。ジャンルや固定観念に縛られず、誰かの日常に寄り添う音楽を届けることを目指している。
