  • mumyo

    mumyo is an artist collective and company of contemporary music consisting of composer Akiko Yamane, Yuri Umemoto and violinist Tatsuki Narita in 2022. The name "mumyo" was given by Ryuichi Sakamoto, based on the legend of the biwa, a Japanese lute, which appears in The Pillow Book.

  • Tatsuki Narita

    violinist, born in 1992. Narita has performed with many orchestras and conductors, including Petr Altrichter, Augustin Dumay, and Pietari Inkinen. Narita collaborates frequently with contemporary composers, he has worked with Toshi Ichiyanagi, Ryuichi Sakamoto, and many composers. In November 2017, Narita gave the world premiere of Toshi Ichiyanagi's composition 'Double Concerto for Violin and Cello and Orchestra'. Narita plays the 1711 'Tartini' from the golden age of Stradivarius. Awards 2010 2nd Prize in the Concours International Marguerite-Long-Jacques-Thibaud 2012 2nd Prize in the Concours Reine Elisabeth en Belgique, and in 2013 he was awarded 2nd Prize in the Sendai International Music Competition photo: (c)Marco Borggreve
