After returning to Japan, he settled in Tokyo, where he continued to perform live music. In 2005, he collaborated with jazz pianist Yuichiro Aratake and released his first album, "Higashi no Sora (East Sky)" in Japan. In the same year, he moved to New York. He then took a 12-year hiatus from music, but in 2020, he was back in the studio and has been working on new songs. The long-awaited his third album will be released in the summer of 2023. Around the same time, he will move to Boston for new film and music production.
