もともと幼馴染で音楽好きだったkakkunとkouchanは、卒業後別々の進路を歩む。
そんな彼らが再び音楽を始めるようになったのは2016年の秋。kakkunの結婚記念日に奥さんへのサプライズとして歌を贈りたい。それが「K'z Music」のデビューシングル「10年目のプロポーズ」の原型である。
個性の違う彼らだが、四半世紀以上の親友だからこその息の合ったハーモニーで奏でるピアノバラードが2017年6月21日にリリース予定。
ジャケットデザインには幼馴染のKeiちゃん、ピアノ伴奏にはAtelierladybirdの川崎泰弘氏を迎え、この楽曲に携わった全ての人のイニシャルが「K」で、「K'z Music(Kによるミュージック)」というネーミングのきっかけともなった。

    Originally, Kakkun and Kouchan loved music since they grew up together. But then, they both chose different paths in life after graduation. Time passed...in fall 2016, they started music again. Their characters are unique and different, but long-term friendship for a quarter of century enables well-harmonized song with a piano ballad, which was released on June 21st in 2017. They played with "Yasuhiro Kawasaki" as an arranger and pianist from Atelier ladybird, who had collaborated with a lot of artists such as "Kashitaro Ito", a professional singer, "Chiaki Omigawa", a voice actress. As every initial of those involved was "K", it led to their band name "K'z music (music by K)".
