      midori was born in Tokyo, Japan. Encouraged by her music-loving family, she joined a choir at a young age, where her passion for music first took root. Later, she traveled solo to New York, immersing herself in vocal and dance training to refine her skills and artistry. After returning to Japan, her natural brightness and outgoing personality opened doors to various recording projects, including chorus work and studio sessions. Grounded in R&B while never losing the essence of J-POP, midori delivers a powerful and soulful voice that blends strength, emotion, and accessibility.
