MC/beatmaker IKE and DJ/producer TOSHIKI HAYASHI (%C) have announced the release of their collaborative album, pareja.
Following their joint singles "BAD BWOY" (2024), "Catch Up," and "Weekend Theory," the two artists have been steadily building a unique creative partnership. The album takes its name from the Spanish word pareja-meaning "partner"-and was crafted under the shared direction of both artists, trusting and responding to each other's sensibilities throughout the process.
The tracklist includes "Weekend Theory," infused with the essence of the 90's golden era; the upbeat, 808-driven "Catch Up"; the smooth and soulful "Inhale Deeply"; "Stright Outta Panopticon," featuring IKE's longtime ally rice water Groove; and "Dream," with guest appearance from BaramonK.
While the album showcases a wide stylistic range, at its core lies the duo's deep-rooted love for hip-hop-from the sounds of the 90s they grew up on to the music of 2025.
