Yume BOY - New Single "DRIP OUT" Drops August 1st!
After releasing their first EP "Konnichi-ssu" in April and winning the grand prize at the "Nobody to Somebody" audition hosted by Space Shower Network x SKIYAKI,
the hottest rap crew right now, Yume BOY, is back with a brand-new track!
This time, the beat is extracted straight from their own live performance - raw, powerful, and full of soul.
On top of it, the boys rap just as they are: relaxed, real, and effortless.
A familiar pop-and-rock-infused hook blends perfectly with verses that dive even deeper into their take on hip hop,
creating a rich original blend that only Yume BOY can deliver.
Even the boldest, most bitter musical espresso goes down smooth when it's served by them.
2 minutes only. A short and strong musical shot - DRIP OUT.
A 4-MC rap crew from Nerima, Tokyo, making music under the concept of 'Fun Hip Hop.' Delivering peaceful music that is 'as real as it gets,' these four happy-go-lucky rappers blend bright, 90s-and-00s-inspired beats with a touch of irony. They are a completely self-made crew who handle everything themselves from rapping and track-making to mixing, mastering, and video production. In the summer of 2024, these former bandmates rhymed for the first time in their lives. From then on, they held ciphers until dawn three times a week to write songs. They officially launched their career in April 2025 with the release of their 1st EP, Konnichi-ssu. In July 2026, their track 'Kaminari no Ishi' went viral on Instagram, surpassing 1.3 million views by September and gaining massive attention after being shared by domestic and international artists, including Lupe Fiasco and Gilles Peterson. In August of the same year, a post by a music account went viral on X, sending their song 'Yume (BOY)' into the trending charts. Their roots lie in artists like RIP SLYME, BUDDHA BRAND, NITRO MICROPHONE UNDERGROUND, Umeda Cypher, and The Pharcyde.
