Guitarist Sakanoshita Norimasa performs original songs based on jazz, bossa-nova, and classical music on seven-string acoustic guitars and the electric guitar. The Sleeping Beauty, the duo of Midori Tamura (acc, sax) and Shion Tamura (piano, keys), has been highly acclaimed by musicians such as Ryuichi Sakamoto and Gontiti. They have performed live at the Hara Museum and other venues. Atsushi Hamada, owner of "MANSIKKA antiques" and bassist. The artist, Akihiro Yamaguchi, creates mainly photography and video works, as well as space and package design.
They were scheduled to perform at MANSIKKA antiques in Ome, Tokyo, in 2020, but due to a new strain of coronavirus, they changed their plans to a live recording project and produced an album, "Row the Haze". The songs on the album were picked up by Apple Music's official playlist "Pure Focus" and others.
While performing live at "fluss" in Oyamadai, Tokyo, and "sun.days.food" in Hokuto City, Yamanashi, they decided to make a new album with the same members and started activities under a new unit name, "USVA".
In 2024, they gathered again at MANSIKKA antiques to record 7 tracks live in two days. In 2025, they release their new album "I Can See Your Scenery", which contains 10 tracks, including 3 tracks recorded at Sakanoshita Norimasa's private studio.
