Olive is a song that portrays education not as the act of simply giving knowledge, but as a quiet process of leaving questions within a person, where they slowly take root.
Learning is not only about reaching an answer as quickly as possible.
Through moments of hesitation, stillness, and exchanging words with others, people gradually begin to find their own way of walking forward.
Just as a small seed grows into a tree over many years and eventually bears fruit, this song expresses how words and experiences grow deep within the heart and transform into a strength that leads us toward the future.
Amon Puncture A Japanese singer songwriter, lyricist, composer, and healing practitioner. As an acupuncturist and bodywork practitioner, Amon Puncture works with the body. As an artist, Amon Puncture stays close to the heart. Through healing hands and a singing voice, Amon Puncture seeks to connect the body and mind. The music explores themes of self acceptance, renewal, the light and darkness within, and the strength to live as your true self. During high school and university, Amon Puncture experienced three traffic accidents. The accident during high school led to several months of hospitalization and rehabilitation. Recovery began with learning to move the toes again. This experience revealed the remarkable potential of the human body and the importance of the people who offer support along the way. Inspired by this experience, Amon Puncture chose a career devoted to helping others recover and became an acupuncturist and bodywork practitioner. Through working with physical discomfort and pain each day, Amon Puncture came to understand that physical recovery and emotional recovery cannot be separated. At the heart of this work is the belief that even when you fail, you are still moving forward. Days when nothing goes well and moments when we need to stop are never meaningless. Even the smallest desire to look ahead is already a step forward. There are also moments in every experience that can make us feel grateful. The people we meet during difficult times, the lessons we discover, and the strength we find to stand up again. When we turn our attention to these things, the same view can begin to look a little different. As a healing practitioner, Amon Puncture supports the body. As an artist, Amon Puncture supports the heart. Physical and emotional recovery are similar in essence. Both are nurtured slowly, one step at a time. That is why Amon Puncture hopes to continue sharing words and music with a gentle warmth that does not push people harshly, but instead helps them feel that they can take one more step.
