"Someday, we hope to be a landscape you'll remember"
i_andscape. is a six-member idol group based in Sendai, Japan. Their first full-length album, "idscp", captures in 13 tracks the journey they have taken so far and the fleeting place where they find themselves today.
i_andscape. made their debut on February 23, 2025, in Sendai, Miyagi. With most members having no previous idol experience, the group faced the departure of a member soon after beginning their activities. Still, those who remained continued to take the stage, determined to protect the name i_andscape. and the music they had built together.
On April 11, 2026, new members joined and i_andscape. began their "2nd phase" as a six-member group.
Drawing from shoegaze, alternative rock, EDM, drum and bass, and other influences, i_andscape. brings a distinctive range of musical textures into the world of Japanese idol music. While remaining rooted in Sendai and the Tohoku region, they have steadily expanded their activities beyond their hometown, discovering new "landscapes" with every stage.
At this point in their journey, i_andscape. presents their first full-length album, "idscp".
The album features three previously unreleased songs written specifically for the group by Taochy (T.M.P), Azusa Suga (ex. April Blue / For Tracy Hyde), and Kota Saito (Brevity, the soul of wit.).
Every song released since their first digital single "RNWY" has also been re-recorded by the current six-member lineup. Rather than simply compiling existing recordings, the group recorded all-new vocals, while every track was remixed and remastered. Songs born throughout their history have been rebuilt as the sound of "i_andscape. in 2026."
Songs once carried forward by three members are now sung by six.
New voices now overlap with familiar landscapes.
The past is not erased. They carry it with them as they move toward what comes next.
That transformation itself is what "idscp" represents.
And their story will continue to change.
Kirari Akasaka is set to graduate from i_andscape. in the spring of 2027. The six members standing onstage together today will not remain these same six forever. That is precisely why there is meaning in preserving the voices and sounds that exist only in this moment.
The landscape they saw on the day it all began.
The days when things did not go as planned.
The landscape they held onto through parting.
The new landscape they discovered together as six.
And beyond the farewell still to come, a landscape none of them has seen yet.
Someday, all of it will become a memory.
"idscp" is not simply an album about looking back. It is a record of six people carrying everything that came before them, preserving the fact that they are here together right now, while continuing to move forward.
Someday, when the members and those who listened to this album are standing in different places, we hope these 13 songs will bring them back to this moment in 2026, to the voices and emotions, the lights onstage, and the energy of the crowd.
