Five hundred millionths of a second. Earlier than a blink. Is the "you" who existed then the same "you" whose finger now rests on the play button?

La RITUALTUDE II ~C'est tout.~ is the second installment - twelve songs that reweave the philosophy of Ritualtude into J-Pop. If the first album, Just Morn..., traced the quiet ignition of morning, this one is music for the small pauses and fresh starts of a single day. Taking off your shoes. Switching off. Sitting down. Each gesture, sounded anew as a ritual.

This is not philosophy to be read. Not a lecture. Not an audiobook. You simply listen - and the thought begins to envelop the body. This is thought J-Pop: a threshold where philosophy quietly changes form, from something read into something heard.

Ritualtude transforms the smallest daily acts - washing your hands, opening a window, steadying your stride - into conscious rituals. Through dialogue with history, humanity, and the universe, you find your way of being once more. Not music for a mood, but melody for a way of being.

Two axes run through this record: scale and cycle. From five hundred millionths of a second, to the turning of four seasons, to the cosmic threshold of the Universal New Year. Within the stretching of time, the same self appears again and again, and quietly ends again and again. As one fractal nests inside another, the same ritual repeats - within a day, a year, a life.

In Change My Universe and It's not Rainy days, negations resound as gentle affirmations. Nothing is added; what is here is allowed to remain. In Switch Off, Silence Noise, and I Sit Down and Take Off My Shoes, the album draws out the ritual quality of stopping, of taking off, of laying down. The closing piece, C'est tout. - a French phrase declaring this is all - appears in Japanese and French versions, quietly closing the album, and at once, opening it.

These songs were originally delivered every Thursday, to a certain place. A place where comparison, approval, and one-upmanship do not exist. Within an invisible community, only the sender and receiver face one another, so that time alone becomes the most luxurious time of all. Not made for the fervor of crowds, but to sound in your own room, for you.

From song to song, the distance and temperature of the voice shift. Outlines are never fixed. Only the presence that is needed appears, and then takes its leave. Not to place anyone on a pedestal, but to gently order the listener's day. To turn living carefully from effort into repetition. So that the play button becomes a small altar, and the passage from the everyday into ritual is honored.

If you feel this album should not be a one-time experience, but a form for the life ahead of you -

Dernière Chaleur breathes more deeply, beyond the music. Every Monday, the written thought arrives. From Tuesday through Friday, the same thought is offered through photography, poetry, music, and podcast. A design for letting philosophy live not on a bookshelf, but seep into the body as the rhythm of a week.

These twelve songs are a door opened outward. On the other side, a quieter continuity waits - to turn your everyday into ritual.

C'est tout. That is all. And from here, it begins.

Artist Profile

  • DERNIÈRE CHALEUR

Dernière Chaleur is a philosophy brand born from the light and stillness of Provence. The concept it proposes, Ritualtude, is a lived philosophy. It turns everyday gestures such as washing your hands, opening a window, and adjusting your stride into rituals, and it restores a way of being through dialogue with history, with all people, and with the cosmos. This is not philosophy you encounter by reading books. It is not philosophy you learn by listening to lectures, and it is certainly not an audiobook. From the moment it begins to play inside your earphones, the listener is enveloped, body and all, by philosophy. This is philosophy J Pop, created for that very experience. The outline of the voice is never fixed to a single identity. Only the warmth that is needed appears for each track, then quietly disappears. Not to place anyone at the front, but to tune the listeners day. It shifts living carefully from an act of effort into a practice of repetition. The play button becomes a small altar, an entrance where the everyday crosses over into ritual.
