"Ugetsu Kaido" is a galactic Edo Boom Bap journey drifting through rainy midnight streets beside a mist-covered river.
Raindrops on cobblestones.
Lantern lights reflecting on dark water.
Distant radio noise echoing through the fog.
And above it all - an endless midnight sky.
Blending traditional Edo-style Japanese lyrics with fragments of English hooks, the song captures the feeling of wandering through a night with no clear destination.
A dreamy midnight road-trip filled with loneliness, drifting memories, and cinematic Boom Bap grooves.
Tonight again,
the mechanical carriage keeps running through the rainy moonlit highway.
Liminal Reverie is an instrumental music project centered on the theme between reality and dreams. Between day and night. After the crowds fade away. Moments where reality and dreams have not yet fully separated. Liminal Reverie turns the lingering presence, afterglow, and quiet atmosphere of those moments into sound. The project is built on two complementary musical axes: Japanese side: Edo Lofi Western side: Liminal Reverie Each explores a different world, while sharing the same sense of liminality.
