  akiho Born: August 5 1997 Theme: A touch of extra color for your ordinary days. Originally from Kobe Japan and now based in Malaysia. akiho is a singer-songwriter and performer connecting with audiences across Asia. She began writing her own songs at the age of 15 capturing the personal struggles/hopes/ and human connections that shaped her youth. After graduating high school she moved to Malaysia spending the past decade sharing her music throughout Southeast Asia. While her core identity lies in her original Japanese songs she has continuously explored her own style through live performances and cultural events. Blessed with the bright approachable warmth typical of Japans Kansai region akiho possesses a charming contrast: in her music she faces vulnerability and delicate emotions with raw honest words. This relatable duality is what makes her artistry so comforting to her listeners. In recent years she has become a familiar face in Malaysias Anime/Comic/and Games (ACG) scene while also expanding her path to events in Vietnam/Thailand/ and Taiwan. Whether she is performing energetic original tracks beloved anime songs or intimate acoustic sets she embraces every stage without being bound by genres.
