WiL" is a rapper based in Gifu/Nagoya. This new single "Shining*" features HekA, a rapper from TripRoom, a creative team also based in Nagoya, as a guest performer.

This single, WiL's third solo release, features a light-hearted dialogue between WiL and guest HekA over a track with a floating feel that pulls us into a dream world. The song is a perfect reflection of where WiL is at the moment, with lyrics that reflect both his struggles with these issues and his positive feelings toward the brilliant world he and his friends are heading toward. We cannot take our eyes off the young talent coming out of Nagoya.

  • WiL

    Born in 2002, he is a rapper from Gifu City. He started his career at the age of 15 in freestyle battles. In 2022, at the age of 20, he began full-fledged activities as WiL, releasing his first single "Dive" in October of the same year with MC RYUGA as a guest performer from his hometown creative team BANDIT. In parallel with his solo activities, he also formed the hip-hop unit GOOBER with his ally, producer tinjao. In 2023, GOOBER's single "Runner" was selected for the official Apple Music playlist "Itsumademofresh by Coming Freshers. He is currently working on a solo EP with various artists as guest artists.
