Artist Profile

  • Takehiro

Born in Saitama Prefecture, Japan. Piano and synthesizer player. Specializing primarily in composition, he worked as a school teacher (Japanese language) for one year before establishing WATATAKE Sound Co., Ltd. from 2013 to 2017. In addition to managing sound sources, he also handles production and video production. He signed a contract with Tunecore at the end of 2017 and began distributing his own music domestically and internationally. He gained attention with his 2018 collection of covers of Japanese children's songs, and since then, his activities have centered on arrangements of children's songs and folk songs, comical songs with animal themes, and humorous original works. He also produces easy listening albums, a genre he has been familiar with since childhood. Influenced by easy listening masters such as Paul Mauriat, Franck Pourcel, and Caravelli, he currently develops music that is popular with a wide range of generations. Recently, his animal-themed songs have become popular on social media.
