Uturoi marks the first release under the name Machitoki Baku.
Structured around the four seasons spring, summer, autumn, and winter the EP reflects transitions in time, emotion, and identity.
After years of creating music under different names as a Vocaloid producer, Machitoki Baku emerged from a decision to express music through his own voice. This work stands as the starting point of that path.
Over time, values and personality collapse and take new form. Written through periods of conflict and reflection, these four pieces trace a return to the self.
Layering inner states onto seasonal imagery, the EP serves as both a personal document and a quiet record of renewal.
This release marks the beginning of an ongoing journey.
Machitoki Baku is a musician and artist from Aichi Prefecture. Born June 24, 2006 He runs his own label, IRO-MONO COLLECTIVE. His interest in music production was sparked by Pyotr Tchaikovskys The Nutcracker, which he encountered at piano lessons as a child, and he was also strongly influenced by the Vocaloid culture he discovered around the same time. He began creating music using DTM at the age of 15. From songwriting, composition, and arrangement to production, artwork, and video production, handling nearly every aspect of the production process himself as a self-produced artist. With music as his core, he is expanding his creative scope to include visual expressions such as fashion and illustration. He also works as a Vocaloid producer under multiple pseudonyms, including garakuta kuraku, se27, a. (adot), CULT P, Yuine and others. At the same time, he has redefined singing with his own voice as the foundation of his artistry and will fully launch his solo career under the name Machitoki Bak in 2026. With a wide range of musical roots and experiences visiting multiple countries since childhood, his sound is characterized by a blend of exotic atmosphere and deep introspection. Through production that transcends genres and formats, he continues to explore music that only Machi-to Bak can create. © IRO-MONO COLLECTIVE.
