I hardly know
What the next chapter might bring but
I won't flip the page
Just to take a peek
It's time to go
Chase something new
Open the window
To a brand new view
But day after day I complicate
What should be so simple
I try to sit and concentrate
But I follow my impulses
To see where it might take me
I just let it all unfold
I float off in a day dream
And ride it all the way
Into the Unknown
It used to scare me
But it's in the Unknown
Where I found myself again
I can't control what lies before me
So I surrender to an ever changing story
Well my time keeps slipping
指の隙間から溶けてゆくの
だから残り時間で何ができるかを試したいの
だけど
Day after day I complicate
What should be so simple
I try to sit and concentrate
But I follow my impulses
To see where it might take me
I just let it all unfold
I float off in a day dream
And ride it all the way
Into the Unknown
It used to scare me
But it's in the Unknown
Where I found myself again
I can't control what lies before me
So I surrender to an ever changing story

Unknown
Grace Aimi
My new song "Unknown" is about my relationship with the unknown parts of life.
For a long time, I 've had a strange anxiety about unfamiliar paths, unexpected turns, and the feeling of stepping into something I can 't control or fully understand. The unknown is a place where you can imagine, predict, and wonder, but you can never truly know what 's waiting. And for a while, that mystery didn 't feel exciting to me. It just made me nervous.
It never stopped me from moving forward, but it often made me second-guess myself along the way.
Something shifted for me over the past two years. Maybe it's part of growing up, becoming more comfortable with who I am, and learning to trust myself and have faith in the future.
I'm happy to say that my anxiety toward the 'unknown' has slowly transformed into something else.
Sam really helped me embrace that feeling when we made this song. The track itself feels sweet and approachable, almost like the unknown can be too.
In a way, this song is a love letter to the unknown, and a promise to myself that no matter where life leads, I'll continue to learn and grow.
I hope you enjoy it. And if you're someone who feels the same way I once did, this song is especially for you.
If you trust yourself and keep doing the work, life has a funny way of guiding you exactly where your soul needs to go.
