This album, *Phantom Ideal*, is the second installment in a series compiling songs I wrote and composed, covered by Suno v5. I plan to release all 75 tracks across six albums, and I created the track selection, titles, album art, and this liner notes in consultation with ChatGPT. Like the first installment, as I refined the track selection for this second volume, songs that were particularly well-suited to Suno naturally came together. If the first volume was a nightmare imbued with the heat of a bright city, this second volume evokes the image of sinking deeper into the night. The tracks on this album weave together themes of transformation, ideals, collapse, messages, and a connection to the future. The "ideal" in this album is neither a simple hope nor a dream completely lost. It is something that, while wounded by change, crumbling into illusion, and fading into a ghostly presence like particles of memory or light, still refuses to vanish entirely and remains. The exit we sought within the nightmare of the first installment becomes, here, a door to a new world, leaving a faint glimmer of light beyond it.
