The title Lif / Life Instinct Function originally comes from the OS in Serial Experiments Lain.
For me, it symbolizes the fundamental question of why do humans live? and at the same time represents the built-in survival instinct, like a program running inside us.

This album, influenced by anime and games, explores through music how emotions such as to live, to lose one's mind, and to love actually function.
In other words, it's like hacking the operating system of humanity itself - that is Lif / Life Instinct Function
