Artist Profile

  • Toshikazu Ikegawa

    A guitarist who works with the concept of I want to deliver the passion and excitement of flamenco! He started playing flamenco guitar at the age of 6, influenced by his father, who is a Latin singer. After studying abroad in Spain, he started performing in China and then performed at live houses and events across the country. Received the semi-encouragement award at the Newcomer Performance sponsored by the Japan Flamenco Association. He has been touring all over the country with his overwhelming live performances and friendly talks, all with the same passion that comes from his home in Spain. His books include Flamenco Guitar Textbook 1 & 2 and Playing with Flamenco Techniques Passionate Solo Guitar Arrangement Collection is ranked first in three categories on Amazon. The YouTube video Flamenco Introductory Course has over 3000 subscribers and over 300 videos. Every day, he communicates the charm of flamenco.
