The 7th single from singer-songwriter and bassist Tooru Kobayashi's ambitious project to release 30 consecutive singles in 2026.

"Tokyo," a fan-favorite track originally featured on his previous album, has been completely re-recorded at "Nariyamazu Studio." This new version captures his evolved artistry, featuring passionate vocals and a deeply refined bass performance that breathes fresh life into the song.

The lyrics realistically depict the internal conflicts of chasing dreams in a metropolis, only to find oneself overwhelmed and chased by the relentless pace of daily life. The emotional, deep resonance of the bass combined with his poignant yet powerful voice perfectly expresses the memories of "Tokyo"-a place filled with anxiety and frustration, yet somehow always glittering.

The music video, filmed at the creative space "Bochi-Bochi," once again features the brilliant dancer "Kanatasu." Moving forward from the previous music video, this new visual story powerfully portrays a journey of moving away from the overwhelming days in Tokyo, returning to one's hometown, and ultimately discovering "true happiness."     Originally from Saitama Prefecture, this singer-songwriter travels around the country performing live shows in a homemade mobile home with his acoustic bass in hand. His soft voice, deeply moving lyrics, and evocative melodies never fail to captivate listeners. His wide-ranging musical talents have led to him writing numerous songs, including commercials for Kitanippon Broadcasting (KNB), product image songs, and event theme songs. Since 2017, he has been uploading cover songs to Instagram every Monday through Friday, earning him a large following and earning him a steady stream of followers. While focusing on delivering his songs in real-life through social media broadcasts and live performances, his unique style of traveling around the country in a mobile home he built in a pickup truck, along with his warm personality, continues to steadily gain fans across the country.
