Winter Lights, Young Hearts / FLARECODE
Winter Lights, Young Hearts is the first full album from FLARECODE,
a bilingual vocal group singing in both Japanese and English.
From the bold opener NO MORE LIMITS and the rush of new encounters in
SPIN MY WORLD" and Neon Heartbeat,
to the late-night peak of TURN UP THE NIGHT and the darker echo of "PHANTOM RESONANCE",
the album dives into every shade of love, loss, and hope.
Winter ballads like This Winter, My Heart, Under These Christmas Lights
and "Moonlit Vow" capture fragile feelings under the cold sky,
while Crystal Goodbye" and Until My Voice Breaks" trace the pain and proof of a love that can't return.
Little Prayer offers a quiet wish for tomorrow,
and "This Moment Is Mine" closes the album with a gentle but powerful step forward.
These are twelve stories of young hearts glowing under the winter lights
a soundtrack for sleepless nights, city streets, and the moment you decide to start again.
FLARECODE is a mixed-gender vocal group consisting of four teenagers from Japan and the United States. The group name embodies the meaning of FLARE (a flash of light) that ignites sparks in the heart, and CODE (a cryptic message) that each listener unravels within themselves. With lyrics that naturally blend English and Japanese and a sound fusing pop, rock, and anime song influences, they weave narratives of youthful pain, confusion, parting, love, and even small glimmers of hope. The distinct voices of each member intertwine, aiming for performances that etch themselves into the hearts of viewers and listeners like a code of light from fleeting brilliance to lingering resonance.
